Liminal Encounters
Liminal Encounters emerges from my experience of moving between Israel and Germany and living in temporary spaces such as sublets, Airbnbs, and hotels.
Created through staged photographic situations, the project explores transience, instability, and the shifting meaning of home.
Working within spaces that do not belong to me, I use performative role-play to explore relationships between space, others, and the self.
The temporary environment becomes an active collaborator in the creation of staged yet intuitive photographic scenes.
Through these cinematic images, I construct temporary forms of belonging while navigating intimacy, loneliness, and self-definition within constantly changing environments.
